Prof. dr. Gerben Meynen is the principal researcher in the project. He is professor of forensic psychiatry, Utrecht University, and professor of ethics, in particular bioethics, VU University Amsterdam

Vera Tesink is a PhD candidate on the LENC-project, focusing on ethical analyses, at VU University Amsterdam.

 

 

 

Naomi van de Pol

Naomi van de Pol is a PhD candidate on the LENC-project, focusing on the legal implications of the use of neurotechnology in criminal justice, at Utrecht University.

 

 

 

Dr. Sjors Ligthart

Dr. Sjors Ligthart is a postdoc on the LENC-project at Utrecht University. Sjors is also assistant professor at Tilburg University.

 

 

 

Dr. Emma Dore-Horgan

Dr. Emma Dore-Horgan is a postdoctoral researcher on the LENC-project at VU University Amsterdam.

 

 

 

 

Esther Nauta

Esther Nauta is a PhD candidate in criminal law at Utrecht University. She is a junior researcher in the LENC-project.

Prof. dr. Thomas Douglas

Prof. dr. Thomas Douglas is a collaborator on the ethical aspects of the LENC project and he is one of the supervisors of Vera’s PhD project. He is Professor of Applied Philosophy at the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Oxford.

 

 

Dr. Lisa Forsberg

Dr. Lisa Forsberg is a collaborator on the ethical aspects of the LENC project and she is one of the supervisors of Vera’s PhD project. She is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at Somerville College and in the Faculty of Law at Oxford University.

 

 

 

Prof. dr. Antoine Buyse

Prof. dr. Antoine Buyse is a collaborator on the legal aspects of the LENC project and he is one of the supervisors of Naomi’s PhD Project. He is full professor of human rights at Utrecht University and director of the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights (SIM).

 

 

 

Dr. Johannes Bijlsma

Dr. Johannes Bijlsma is a collaborator on the legal aspects of the LENC project and he is one of the supervisors of Naomi’s PhD Project. He is associate professor of criminal law at Utrecht University.
